In Oregon, Girls High School Lacrosse is a club sport and therefore managed, funded, and organized by parents and volunteers. It is under the direction of the Oregon Girls Lacrosse Association (OGLA) and the Oregon chapter of the US Lacrosse Association.

The Beaverton High School Girls Lacrosse (formerly, Beaverton Girls Lacrosse Club) was established in December 2008. Between December 2008 and February 2009, the Beaverton Girls Lacrosse Club board was established, school liaison appointed, and a head coach and assistant were hired.
