REGISTRATION FOR 2024 IS CURRENTLY OPEN.

Please visit the Registration Page prior to registering. Start by verifying that your USA Lacrosse Membership is valid THROUGH the end of the season (May 2024) and make sure you have your THPRD Membership Number with you for registration.

And CAREFUL...please register for the proper grade and gender!

Beaverton Beavers Youth Lacrosse (BBYL) is a volunteer based, non-profit organization.  BBYL provides all youth, grades Kindergarten through 8, living within the Beaverton High School boundary, an opportunity to participate in a competitive lacrosse program emphasizing the fundamentals of the game, good sportsmanship, and the spirit of competition.

BBYL is a member club of the Tualatin Valley Youth Lacrosse League (TVYLL).  TVYLL is the youth lacrosse affiliate of the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District (THPRD) and coordinates the use and scheduling of THPRD fields by Beaverton Beavers Youth Lacrosse.

Teams

Players will be placed on teams based on their school, grade, and gender.

  • Girls and Boys grade Kindergarten-2nd (Co-ed)
  • Girls grade 3-4
  • Boys grade 3-4
  • Girls grade 5-6
  • Boys grade 5-6
  • Girls grade 7-8
  • Boys grade 7-8

Grade K-2 Coed

Registration SPRING '24 fee - $60.00

Fees include:

  • K-2 Clinics - 6 weeks (6 Saturday mornings)
  • Shooter Shirt (shooter shirts will be provided to all grades K-8th)
  • Field usage
  • Equipment (balls, fields and safety)
  • Club administration
  • Does NOT include USA Lacrosse annual membership $35.00

Grade K-2 Coed equipment

  • Girls or boys lacrosse stick
  • Cleats (recommended).

Grade 3-8 Girls

Registration SPRING '24 fee for grade 3-8 Girls - $250.00

Fees include:

    • Shooter Shirt (shooter shirts will be provided to all grades K-8th)
    • Field usage
    • Equipment (balls, fields and safety)
    • Club administration
    • Does NOT include USA Lacrosse annual membership $35.00
  • Practices will be twice a week, mid-March through May.
  • Games will be held on Saturdays starting early April.
  • Play follows US Lacrosse women rules, see https://www.uslacrosse.org/the_sport/womens_rules.phtml .
  • Players will be placed on teams based on their grade, 3-4, 5-6, or 7-8.
  • Players provide their own equipment.

Girls grade 3-8 Equipment

  • Girls lacrosse stick.
  • Lacrosse protective eye goggles.
  • Mouth guard.
  • Cleats (highly recommended). Softball or soccer cleats are fine so long as they do not have steel cleats.

Grade 3-8 Boys

Registration SPRING '24 fee for grade 3-8 Boys - $250.00

Fees include:

  • Shooter Shirt (shooter shirts will be provided to all grades K-8th)
  • Field usage
  • Equipment (balls, fields and safety)
  • Club administration
  • Does NOT include USA Lacrosse annual membership $30.00
  • Practices will be twice a week, mid-March through May.  Games will be held on Saturdays starting early April.
  • Play follows modified NFHS boys Lacrosse rules, see https://www.oylax.org/rules.html .
  • Players will be placed on teams based on their grade, 3-4, 5-6, or 7-8
  • Players provide their own equipment.

Boys grade 3-8 equipment

  • Lacrosse stick.
  • Lacrosse helmet.
  • Lacrosse chest/shoulder pads.
  • Lacrosse elbow pads.
  • Lacrosse gloves.
  • Mouth guard.
  • Athletic cup.
  • Cleats (highly recommended). Lacrosse, football, baseball, or soccer cleats are fine so long as they do not have steel cleats.
